A good translation is successful communication. In fact, good translations by native speakers are crucial to successful business operations on the world stage. We know the importance of language like no other. All of our staff, both in-house and freelance, are therefore extensively tested with regard to their expertise and language skills before being accepted into any form of working partnership.

Translators and interpreters
WTS works only with native speakers for its translating and interpreting work. These are people who not only have a perfect command of their mother tongue, naturally, but also are intimately familiar with the culture of the countries whose languages they speak. We have in-house translators of English, French, and Dutch and work with a global network of freelance translators and interpreters of every other language (many of them sworn or certified). Our translators and interpreters have earned their professional expertise through years of experience and have often also been educated, beyond their language studies, in their speciality fields. We offer any and all language combinations.

Quality and service
WTS guarantees quality and consistency through its large team of professionals: translators, correctors, interpreters and project coordinators. We work with both sworn (RBTV) and non-sworn native speakers. The preconditions for a good translation are a perfect command of the native tongue and a broad knowledge of the source-language culture. Every translator and interpreter has his or her own language combination(s) and specialisation(s). They all work according to the WTS quality standards and are held to the strictest confidentiality.

After a translator checks his/her own text and submits it, the translation is checked again for completeness, consistency and accuracy by a second native speaker before being delivered to the client. This is how we guarantee and maintain the high quality of our work. Our project coordinators always provide excellent customer service and are highly valued for their personal approach and rapid response times. They closely monitor deadlines to make sure these are adhered to and serve as your trusted company liaison. They would be more than happy to discuss your specific needs with respect to any translating or interpreting assignment you might have.

WTS safeguards the quality of its translations by adhering strictly to a set procedure for every translating or interpreting assignment, no matter the scope or subject matter. This not only benefits the quality of the work, but also guarantees consistency in terms of language use and jargon.

Delivery time
The standard production time for a translator is about 10,000 words a week (some 30 A4-sized pages) or 2,000 words a day (some 6 A4-sized pages). We can naturally expedite production by deploying multiple translators for a single assignment and would then deploy a single final editor to monitor the consistency of the language. The production time estimate applies only in terms of each language combination; that is, a single Dutch text can be translated into French, German and English at the same time. Translated texts are always delivered by the stipulated time, as per agreement.
